If you really want to change your eating habits you have to change your mind set too. This means you have to start thinking, "I am going to start eating healthy to lose weight". The raw food diet is a perfect place to start because it kind of gives you the jump-start you need to good healthy eating. When you do this the benefits are tenfold! One being you start to metabolize your food better. This  is a great benefit as you are able to burn calories better than before and your body functions as it's suppose to. The nutrients go where there suppose to go with better absorption of the vitamins from fruits, vegetables, nuts, beans and other raw food. Your body goes through a detoxification and is replenished and you will feel better and look better with younger looking skin. When I first tackled the raw food diet I looked for all the information I could before hand. I have now been on it for a month and a half now (about 60% raw) and have lost fifteen pounds! I have never felt better!
